I am not getting the password reset email. How can I resolve this?

Problem

I'm not receiving the password reset email.

Environment

  • Logged-out user attempting to reset their password

  • SaaS platform with email-based password recovery

Resolution

If you’re not receiving the password reset email:

  1. Check your spam, junk, or promotions folders.

  2. Ensure you entered the correct email address associated with your account.

  3. Wait a few minutes in case of delayed email delivery.

If you still don’t receive the email, please contact support so we can assist you directly.

Cause

This can happen due to:

  • Email filtering by your provider

  • Incorrect email address entered

  • Temporary email delivery delays

Additional Notes

  • The password reset link is only valid for a limited time.

  • Some corporate firewalls may block system-generated emails.
